Bob Gruen's monograph book 'Rock Seen'

For 40 years, Bob Gruen's name has been synonymous with rock and roll. From taking early photos on tour with Ike and Tina Turner, to capturing the early CBGB/Max's Kansas City scene to covering current stadium rockers such as Green Day, Gruen has always been at the right place at the right time—and he's always gotten the shot. In this lavish monograph, Gruen has curated his favorite photographs from his career, with intimate captions and behind-the-scenes anecdotes. Featuring such illustrious acts as the Clash, Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, Sex Pistols, Ramones, and more, and including an introduction by the legendary Debbie Harry of Blondie, this collection is a must-have for all fans of rock and roll.

"ROCKERS", the catalog book of Bob Gruen's exhibition at FAAP University Museum in São Paulo.
"The photographs we find in Rockers bring us some of the atmosphere and spirit that Gruen was only able to capture throughout his years of work because of his close friendship and respect for the artists he photographed, and his deep involvement with the culture of his time".
This book has two different 'front' covers and therefore two ways you can approach your visit to this edition: open the cover from one side and you'll find a panorama of all the 274 photos displayed at the corresponding exhibition that took place in the city of São Paulo grouped together. Turn the book over and 144 enlargements provide a detailed look into situations experienced by some of the greatest icons of three generations of rock 'n roll.
