April 13 -Maui, Hawaii - After a long, busy winter I was invited to do a Q&A when my film 'Rock & Roll Exposed' was screened at the Hawaii National Film Festival. The film is now on Showtime In Demand (US) available at any time.

April 17 - NYC - 'Super Duper Alice Cooper' film premiere at the Bow Tie Chelsea Cinemas. Alice and the film's producers asked John Varvatos to join them in a picture an the opening.

April 22 - NYC - Tony Bennett joined Lisa Robinson during her "There Goes Gravity" book release party at the Monkey Bar.

April 22 - NYC - Jann Wenner and Ralph Steadman during the opening of Steadman's 'For No Good Reason' exhibit at Red Bull Studios in Chelsea.

May 7 -Jersey City - I signed a set of new silkscreens produced by Gary Lichtenstein at Mana Contemporary in New Jersey.

May 19 - NYC - Johnny Ramone's widow Linda Ramone & Joey Ramone's brother Mickey Leigh at the Joey Ramone Birthday Bash at Bowery Electric.

May 29 - NYC - I talked with Shep Gordon and D.A. Pennebacker during the afterparty for Shep's film 'Supermensch'.

June 3 - NYC - Alejandro Escovedo came to see my wife Elizabeth Gregory-Gruen at her exhibition at the Ivy Brown Gallery.

June 10 - NYC - Kills members Jamie Hince and Allison Mosshart at Jamie's photo exhibit opening at Morrison Hotel Gallery.

June 17 - NYC - Yoko Ono, working with Pere Ubu warmed up for her big Glastonbury appearance with an intimate show at Union Pool in Brooklyn.

July 7 - Corrientes - Children learned about John & Yoko at my 'John Lennon: The New York Years' exhibit at El Instituto de Cultura de la Provincia de Corrientes in Argentina.

July 16 - London - I met with Stephen Colegrave, producer of the LDNY festival, and Smutty Smitt of the Rockats to plan for an exhibition of my photos they are organizing to open in Shoreditch, London in October.

July 19 - Skarham - My studio assistant Hanna Toresson married my good friend, blues musician Hook Herrera at Hanna's family home in Skarham, Sweden. I introduced them several years ago so Hook asked me to be his best man.

July 30 - NYC - GOASTT with Charlotte Kemp-Muhl and Sean Lennon, played at McCarren Pool in Brooklyn, NY.

August 7- NYC - Photographer Danny Clinch joined Jesse Malin opening for Gaslight Anthem at the John Varvatos Store on the Bowery.

August 7- NYC - Gaslight Anthem were really good at the John Varvatos Store on the Bowery. John has done a great job of keeping the feeling of CBGB alive in his store there with live shows every month.

July 30 - NYC - BP Fallon appears as master DJ at the Electric Ballroom.

August 12 - NYC - Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols stopped by to visit me at my Westbeth Studio.

August 23 - NYC - I had another chance to photograph the fantastic young band the Strypes outside the Music Hall of Williamsburg.

August 23 - NYC - Backstage at the Music Hall of Williamsburg I took this shot of the Strypes on the stairs to the dressing room.

August 12 - NYC - Vieux Farka Toure brought his lively African sound to the Highline Ballroom.

August 29 - Roxbury, NY- Gallery owner Phil Lenihan with me at the opening of my 'Rock Seen' exhibit at the Orphic Gallery.

September 3 - Newark, NJ- Steven Tyler had a party-like atmosphere in his dressing room with loud music, models and makeup people before Aerosmith's show at the Prudential Center.

September 3 - Newark, NJ - Aerosmith on stage at the Prudential Center rocking and rolling with incredible energy!

September 9 - NYC - I met with Legs McNeil and Mick Rock at the Ace Hotel to plan for our talk on Sept 30, which was a huge success!

September 22 - NYC - Jeffrey Deitch, Debbie Harry and Chris Stein and me during the opening of the Blondie 40th Anniversary exhibit at the Chelsea Hotel Gallery. The show, curated by Jeffrey, includes photos by Chris and myself, David Godlis, Roberta Bayley, Bobby Grossman, Mick Rock, Annie Liebowitz and Robert Mapplethorpe.
