Green Day rocked the Barclay Center – Glen Matlock and Syl Sylvain played an acoustic set at City Winery – Cheap Trick and Eric Burdon played at the John Varvatos store in the former CBGB space – and Dee Snider; Barb Wire Dolls; Supla; Willie Nelson, and more!

April 27 - NYC - The Tribeca Film Festival screened the film made by the Annenberg Space for Photography about the Who Shot Rock & Roll exhibition photographers. After the screening there was a Q&A with the film's director Steven Kochones, producer Joe Russo, curator Gail Buckland, and photographers, myself, Lynn Goldsmith and Jill Furmanovsky.

April 28 - NYC - John Varvatos has kept the old CBGB space rocking since he opened his store there. He often has great concerts there. Cheap Trick celebrated the 30th anniversary of 'Live at the Budokan' by playing the same set again and sounded just as good as ever. In the back alley after the show Rick Nielsen hung out with producer Jack Douglas, and John Varvatos.

May 9 - NYC - Marc Jacobs' Bookmarc on Bleecker Street hosted an exhibition of early punk scene photos by the photographers who were there at the start. Above at the opening: Janette Beckman, Laura Levine, me, Danny Fields, David Godlis, Stephanie Chernikowski, Bobby Grossman, Marcia Resnick, Roberta Bayley (who curated the show) and Leee Black Childers.

May 16 - NYC - Austin radio DJ Jody Denberg has interviewed Yoko Ono many times over the years. As a gift to Yoko for her 80th birthday we combined quotes from his interviews with my favorite Yoko photos to make a special book for her. Yoko liked the book so much she asked us to see if we could publish it. We hope to have it out next year.
