After taking portrait photos of John Lennon's face on the roof of Lennon's New York apartment, I decided to take more photos for publicity.  I had given John a NYC T-shirt a year earlier and with the skyline all around I asked John if he still had it as this would be the perfect place to wear it.  John went and put it on to make this now iconic photo.

Feb 26 - NYC - Billie Joe starred in the American Idiot play in January and February as St. Jimmy. It was really great to see Billie Joe in a dramatic role. He may come back to the show in April.

Jan 24 - Park City, UT - At the Sundance Film Festival I saw 'The Runaways' starring Riley Keough, Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning seen above at the after-party with Joan Jett. This is a 'must see' rock film!...I also saw 'Nowhere Boy' a wonderful film about John Lennon's teenage years in Liverpool.

By the mid ’70s he was already regarded as one of the foremost documenters of the scene working with major attractions such as John Lennon & Yoko Ono, Tina Turner, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Kiss etc., and also covering the emerging New Wave and Punk bands including The New York Dolls, Patti Smith, Clash, Sex Pistols, Ramones & Blondie.
